The school depends on the expertise of the members of the Board who work on a voluntary capacity to best govern our school.

Parents’ Council:

The Parents Council is made up of all parents & guardians at the school. The Parents’ Council Committee is formed each year at the AGM. New members are welcomed to the committee at the AGM, to bring fresh energy and new ideas. Everyone is invited to join the Parents’ Council and to attend the meetings.

The Parent’s Council works in collaboration with the school management to:

  • Promote the interests of all the students
  • Enhance the learning environment
  • Raise funds for, and contribute to, school initiatives and activities
  • Support community events involving the school and parents

Mission Statement:

At Sandylane NS, we endeavour to create a happy and safe environment which promotes the dignity and individuality of every pupil, enabling them to reach their full potential. We aim to educate the whole child in a Christian atmosphere in partnership with parents/guardians and the wider community.
